The Southern California Pipe Trades Administrative Corporation recently mailed out approximately 14,000 SPD booklets for all eligible Participants of the six plans. (If you have not received it, you should receive the new SPD shortly.) These include summaries of the Southern California Pipe Trades Retirement Fund, Health & Welfare Fund Active Plan, Health & Welfare Fund Pensioners & Surviving Spouses Plan, Defined Contribution Fund, Vacation & Holiday Fund and Christmas Bonus Fund.

These summaries explain the comprehensive benefits program provided to you under the collective bargaining agreements between Southern California Pipe Trades District Council #16 and the employers in the plumbing and pipefitting industry in Southern California. The benefits available from the Plans give you and your family an unmatched level of financial security. Thus, it is very important that you read through the booklet carefully, so that you will understand how the Plans work and benefit you, including Plan Exclusions and Limitations.

The new and enhanced SPD booklet was specifically designed for easy usage at a reasonable cost to the Funds.
