Suspension of Benefits

Suspension of Benefits

If you retire but later return to work in what the Plan defines as disqualified employment, your pension (as well as any pensioner health, dental and vision benefits) may be suspended. If you retire and subsequently return to work that is permissible under the Plan, you may need to confirm that you intended to permanently retire when you applied for retirement benefits. Before you consider starting post-retirement work, check your Summary Plan Description (SPD) to review Plan suspension rules. You will need to contact the Fund Office in writing about any post-retirement work.
